Hana Zhang

Hana Zhang is a photo based artist works and lives in Shanghai. She’s been a free-lance photographer for many years and ran a cafe at the same time. It was when she gave birth to her daughter that she began to do art projects concerning the feminism in China. In her work, She’s trying to respond to the contemporary social context in China and to portray how the mentality has its influence on humanity, and especially on the young female generation.
